An island of wild beauty. According to mythology it was named after the son of King Minos. Folegandros is famous for the charming Hora with its white houses and for the old Castle that exists since Medieval times. A distinct natural monument, the inaccessible Chrysospilia is located northeast of the island, and is a cave with chambers, in which shells, stalactites and stalagmites were found. Katergo is the most beautiful beach on the island with crystal clear cool waters and fine pebbles.
